HeartMath has so many applications! I encourage anyone interested to check out HeartMath for detailed information. As a HeartMath Certified Mentor/Coach, I use this work within Mariposa Heartworks in a variety of forms.
Clients have experienced beneficial effects while learning even the most basic exercises. Some reports I have heard include better relationships, less stress, more sense of presence with animals, more mental clarity, less stressful decision making, less emotional reactivity, greater sense of peace and a sense of empowerment.
Here are some situations where I have found it to be helpful:
I enjoy being of service while working with HeartMath to teach individuals and small groups/businesses stress management and building personal resilience (even if you don't have an animal)! It is an excellent tool for stress management and learning to be more present with clients and ourselves.
HeartMath helps to reduce stress and stay in a state of coherence. Feel free to learn HeartMath's Quick Coherence Technique here. From this place, we can better access our own guidance and come from a place of presence to make good decisions.

I am professionally trained and certified as a Pet Loss Grief Support Specialist through Pet Loss Partners. With my experience and schooling as a veterinary technician and longtime guardian of a menagerie of special needs animals, I am well-equipped to be of service in this time of need.
My professional role within my training is to actively listen and provide support specifically in the realm of pet loss (or impending pet loss) support to my clients. I assist and support them as they navigate any sort of animal loss or transition.
I do not advise clients about whether or not to euthanize a beloved pet. That decision is strictly between the veterinarian and the guardian and is very personal. I help the pet guardian to navigate, provide resources and guidance to support the caregiver's decision without judgement.
Examples of loss, other than death, in which I enjoy being of service include:
Sessions scheduled and are conducted confidentially via telephone or Zoom. I do not provide services over email or text messaging. If the client is located in the San Antonio or Austin area, in person visits to the home, ranch, boarding facility or veterinary clinic may be an option.
For local clients, I am available to attend veterinary visits for euthanasia support and to assist with creating memorials in your pet's honor. I may also be able to be present if you have a large animal being euthanized and are in need of moral and emotional support. Please email me for details on scheduling, questions and pricing options.

Caring for an animal family member towards the end of their life (regardless of age or condition) can be a sacred opportunity of service. On the flip side, it can be exhausting and burdensome when we feel that familiar sense of overwhelm, worry and uncertainty.
My offering is to help find that flow where you are in alignment with the process and you feel confident in working with your veterinary team and providing home care to your animal. It is about being present and understanding how this part of the life you share with them could be optimized.
That's stressful for us and for our animals. We know they read our energy, emotions and body language. Together, we will navigate this chapter and consider how to create the best quality of life for all involved. With my experience as a veterinary technician, I'll assist in helping you to work with your veterinary team so your pet gets the best care.
How can we make our time with them more ideal and their time left on Earth as wonderful as possible?
It's in finding the balance and the flow within the situation that allows the beauty of being present with your animal to shine. That connection is still alive and well, even in the end.
Together, we will discuss your needs and evaluate what your individual situation holds. We will focus on stress management for the human and quality of life enhancement for the furry family member. I will help you to create your own plan that honors the needs of yourself and your pet.

This is an additional service I offer, even if this is the first time you have worked with me. Many people find it to be helpful to create a memorial in honor of their animal. It does not matter how long ago your beloved pet has passed or transitioned to a new life. It is always a good time for a memorial!
The intention is to create beauty and joy in honor of their time with you and your family. It can also help us to process the sense of change and the emotions associated with any sort of loss. This is your own opportunity to find a creative outlet to express the gratitude and positive memories this animal gave you and your family.
Memorials are especially helpful for families with children and can help them to process the loss of their pet in a meaningful way. There are endless options to create with what you have at home or to purchase from people who make customized memorials for you.
These can take many forms, here are a few examples:
Sessions are done via telephone or Zoom and may be available in-person for clients in the Austin or San Antonio, TX area. Please email for details.
