The bond we share with our animals is a sacred one. During our life shared with our animal family, we are often in a position to make choices not only for their Highest Good, but for our own as well. Caring for a large menagerie of special needs animals for the last twenty years and as a formally trained veterinary technician, caring for others beloved animals, I understand the feelings that come with this responsibility.
Though I've had excellent mentors and teachers, nothing compares to what the animals have guided me to learn. Through learning to be present with them and by being receptive to the wisdom they have consistently offered, I understand that our animals heal as we heal.
Animals have shown me how vital it is to also take care of the human part of the relationship. In learning how to be most present with ourselves, we can be empowered advocates, caregivers and friends to our animals.
As the caregiver, we know our animals better than anyone. Your veterinarian will tell you the same thing. Ultimately, I help to guide you, as your beloved animal's advocate so that you can make decisions that are in alignment and bring peace.
